Effective December 31, 2021, the province updated eligibility criteria for PCR testing for COVID-19, limiting testing to high-risk individuals, and individuals who work in high-risk setting. COVID-19 PCR tests for those who meet eligibility criteria can be booked through your local public health unit, and in Hamilton can be booked online.
The Student Symptomatic Testing Centre on campus can provide appointments only for healthcare students, students in clinical placements, or students who identify as First Nations, Inuit or Metis.
The provincial government’s website also includes guidelines for self-isolation for those experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19.
