Back to Mac COVID-19 Training

Students, faculty members, and staff who are coming to any McMaster location or affiliate location for the first time ever or for the first time since the start of the pandemic are required to complete Back to Mac COVID-19 Training. This health and safety training is required before or as soon as you arrive to any McMaster location. 

Students, faculty members and staff who are coming to any McMaster location or affiliate location for the first time ever or for the first time since the start of the pandemic are required to complete Back to Mac COVID-19 Training on Avenue 2 Learn. This health and safety training is required before or as soon as you arrive to any McMaster location. 

All students will find the Back to Mac COVID-19 Training under the continuing tab by logging into their Avenue to Learn account. 

Complete the training before coming to a McMaster location.

Returning faculty members and staff must register for the Back to Mac COVID-19 Training by following the steps below. 

  1. Go online to Mosaic and select the Regulatory Training tile 
  2. Search for “Back to Mac COVID-19 Training”. 
  3. Complete registration.  
  4. 15 minutes (between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.) after registering for this training on Mosaic, it will become available for completion by logging in to your Avenue to Learn account which can be accessed at avenue.mcmaster.ca.

Any students, faculty and staff who have been attending a McMaster location or affiliate location during the pandemic have already completed general COVID-19 training. However, it is recommended that these individuals complete the Back to Mac COVID-19 Training as well.  

Students, faculty members and staff who are attending any McMaster location are required to take this training.

We are encouraging all students, faculty members and staff, even if they do not come to a McMaster location, to complete the Back to Mac COVID-19 Training.

Faculty members and staff can go to Employee Health Services if you have accommodation or accessibility needs.

Students can go to Student Accessibility Services if you if you have accommodation or accessibility needs.
