Closure of satellite Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centres and reduced hours at centre on campus
The two Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centres at satellite locations will close. The Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre (Room 125) will close at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29th.
The Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre at the Ron Joyce Centre (Room 125) in Burlington will close at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4.
Anyone who continues to require asymptomatic COVID-19 testing as part of McMaster’s vaccination mandate may do so at the centre on campus in the McMaster University Student Centre (Room 311, MUSC). Please note that effective October 25th, the Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre on campus in MUSC will change their hours to Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre is only for those who have an approved exemption on a human rights ground as part of the vaccination mandate. You must have MacID. Please do not attend an Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre if you fail your health screening in MacCheck. The centre is not available for those seeking tests for travel reasons.
The Student Symptomatic COVID-19 Testing Centre continues to be open to provide testing for students with symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to the virus.
