End of term message to the McMaster community
Dear Members of the McMaster community,
As we approach the last few days of the winter term, this is the ideal time to extend our ongoing gratitude to all members of our community for the commitment you have shown to delivering on our teaching, learning, and research missions.
The experience of transitioning back to campus and seeing students, staff, and faculty in person over the last few months has been energizing. It has also been encouraging to see so many areas retaining flexible arrangements and finding the right balance between in person and remote working. We anticipate that hybrid work arrangements will continue to evolve, and we thank everyone for working together to pilot new approaches as we go through the summer and into the fall.
As with any transition, the ongoing changes also create a range of pressures, both in our work and personal lives. It is important that we all take care of our health and well-being as we move into the spring and summer months, and continue to support those around us. We thank you for continuing to wear masks when indoors at the University, and for keeping your vaccinations updated.
Thank you for working together to make the winter term a success. We wish you all time to rest and rejuvenate as we approach the summer months.
Sincerely,
David Farrar Susan Tighe Karen Mossman Paul O’Byrne Saher Fazilat Debbie Martin |
