MacCheck COVID digital tool now available to upload proof of vaccination
The MacCheck digital tool is now available at https://maccheck.mcmaster.ca via website browser on any device (smartphone, laptop or tablet).
All McMaster faculty, students and staff are required to upload proof of vaccination to the MacCheck digital tool starting Tuesday, September 7. This applies even to those who will not be on campus in the fall. You will only need to upload vaccination proof ONCE.
Further, you will use MacCheck to complete your daily check-in screening no more than an hour before you come to a McMaster campus or facility locations (including hospital settings). You will need to do this each day you visit a McMaster location. For faculty, students and staff, MacCheck replaces the process of completing a self-assessment through the provincial tool. You no longer need to do the provincial self assessment or email your supervisor. MacCheck streamlines the process into one digital tool.
We encourage everyone in the community to visit the vaccination FAQ page, which will guide you step-by-step through what you need to do and will answer frequently asked questions.?
Important information:
Use your personal MacID: When using MacCheck, use your personal MacID and not an entity/alias/role-based MacID.
Vaccination proof upload: When uploading your vaccination documentation, it is recommended that you use an image file (.jpeg, .png).
Accessing your daily check-in pass: Once you’ve completed the daily check-in, you can access your pass at any time that day by clicking ‘Home’ and selecting the ‘Pass’ icon.
In the first few days, please be patient as many people across the campus community will be accessing MacCheck and adjusting to the new Vaccine Mandate. Patience and kindness through this transition will help McMaster return to the vibrant buzz of campus life.
