MacCheck is website that runs on the browser of your smartphone, laptop or other device.

  • For iPhone or iPad, this is usually Safari, and the icon looks like this: image of Google Chrome browser icon, a circle of green, red and yellow with a blue dot in the middle
  • For android, the default browser is usually chrome, and the icon looks like this: Safari icon, a bright blue compass with white marks and a white and red needle

After completing the provincial COVID-19 self-assessment, you will need to switch back to the open tab for MacCheck. To call up an open instance of MacCheck on your phone, simply return to the browser you use on your phone and review the open tabs.

See instructional videos for advice on how to switch between browser tabs using Safari or Chrome.

Review the FAQ on saving MacCheck as an icon/shortcut so you can easily call up MacCheck just like you would any smartphone application.

Once you’ve completed the daily check-in, you can access your pass at any time that day through MacCheck by clicking ‘Home’ and selecting the ‘Pass’ icon. Please note that MacCheck clearance is no longer required on campus as of May 1, 2022.

You’ll be using MacCheck each day you need to come to campus, so it’s helpful to have an easy way to access it on your phone each day.
